Javonna Roach was born and raised in Baytown, Tx. She attended Baytown Christian Academy from 1992 to 2002. She was part of the varsity volleyball team at Baytown Christian Academy all four years of high school. In 2002, her senior year, the varsity volleyball team won the TAPPS 3A State Championship. After high school, Javonna attended Belhaven College where she was a part of the Volleyball program. She played several positions throughout her college career including outside hitter and defensive specialist. She was also named captain of the volleyball team her junior and senior year at Belhaven College. She graduated from Belhaven College in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. 

Javonna is now a teacher and a coach at Baytown Christian Academy. She teaches high school science including Biology I, Chemistry, and Biology II. She has been the head varsity volleyball coach for the last three years.
